This call invites applications for one (1) postdoctoral researcher with experience in chemical synthesis under the scope of the project “M1420-01-0145-FEDER-000005 - Centro de Química da Madeira - CQM+” cofunded by PROGRAMA OPERACIONAL REGIONAL DA MADEIRA 2014-2020 (MADEIRA 14-20). TOPIC 1: Synthesis, characterization and biological evaluation of anticancer metallodrugs.

Required Experience:
Candidates for this position (“Postdoctoral Grant”) should have expertise in synthesis and characterization of metallodrugs and polymers, experience in in vitro biological evaluation, less than 5 years after Ph.D., a strong motivation to work both independently and as part of a team, very good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines. Experience in the synthesis and functionalization of carbon-based materials (e.g. Carbon dots) or dendrimers, and in the transference of knowledge and technology will be valued in the evaluation process.

Candidates will be evaluated and ranked based on their Curriculum Vitae (maximum 30 points), research activity (scientific/technological production; maximum 30 points), and research proposal (maximum 30 points). The 3 best-ranked candidates for each position will be invited for interviews (online interviews; maximum 10 points).
