As part of the Commemorations of the International Year of the Periodic Table, the Madeira Chemistry Center (CQM) at the Dr. Francisco Fernandes School, where Professor José Câmara - senior researcher at CQM - gave the lecture "The chemical elements of the Periodic Table in our food. Importance and bioactive effects".
