Two representatives from Santander Bank , Dr. Duarte Rodrigues and Dr. José Pereira, CQM’s biggest private backer, visited CQM headquarters.

The representatives of Santander Bank started their visit by meeting with the scientific coordinator of CQM, Professor João Rodrigues, and members of the CQM board, Professors Helena Tomás and José Câmara.

During the meeting Dr. Duarte Rodrigues and Dr. José Pereira learned how with the support from Santander Bank, and other funding agencies, CQM has achieved its success and the initiatives that these have enabled such as, the Santander/University of Madeira Chair in Nanotechnology for Professor Xiangyang Shi.
